That’s because, unlike raising or lowering forks in the triple clamps, or changing the length of the wheelbase, adjusting offset only changes front end trail significantly. This allows the rider to tune the feel of the front end without affecting other areas of the bike’s handling. Best of all, unlike other aftermarket triple clamps, different offsets are available to suit different setup preferences or to retain the same front end trail when switching to tires that are of a different size. Changing offset is easy as it does not require the complete removal of your bike’s forks. Simply loosen the steering stem nut and the pinch bolts that hold the offsets in place. Swap them out, tighten everything to spec and you’re ready to ride!
